Toyota Corolla E12, 1.4 D-4D

I'm really, really confused about this topic... If in the Middle East, taxi companies are using the Corolla E12 as cabs, then why are so few of them in the streets (I'm talking about Europe)? I use to see a lot of other types of ECO cars in traffic, but only a few of these.

These little 1.4 L D-4D turbodiesels can manage over 400000-500000 km (248548-310685 miles) easily + they are cheap to run, affordable and are averaging 4,3 L/100 km (65 mpg): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu0fSeFUL00. Don't forget that in the newest gen Corolla they are still using this 90 HP powerplant! This might not be the most fun to drive car in the written history, but she is lasting forever if you take care of her!

Well equipped models are featuring: satellite navigation, digital climate control, leather seats, trip computer, multi functioning steering wheel, CD player, ESP, ABS, 6x airbags, 4x electric windows, electric mirrors and in some versions an M-MT sequential 5 speed gearbox can be found. If you will use the car most of the time in city traffic and you're thinking in long terms, then I highly recommend the E12 Corolla 1.4 D-4D. It's a pretty fair alternative.
