A fan of Bosnian Ford and Tesla Cybertruck trucks apparently can't wait for the launch scheduled for the end of 2021. He then made it himself, of course, with a design similar to Elon Musk's Cybertruck.
It took eight months for IT specialist and engineer at Stark Solutions firm Igor Krezic to dismantle the Ford F-150 and then convert it into a petrol-powered vehicle that resembles the Cybertruck.
After it was finished, the KW Cybertruck was then used for roads in the south of Mostar City. "His presence attracted the attention of residents," said Mario Coric, Manager of Star Solutions, as reported by Reuters, September 6, 2020.
“Everyone is watching and half of them think we build tanks, because people don't know what Cybertruck is. One girl even stopped and asked if this is where they produced the Tesla Cybertruck. "
Krezic declined to speak to Reuters.
While it may not look identical to the Cybertruck functional prototype, the pickup is still eye-catching.
"The owner wanted us to combine the two opposing sides - Ford and Cyber - because he is a fan of Tesla and Ford, so we combined the two platforms into one," he said.
"This one uses gasoline and Tesla uses electricity. We tried to copy as much as possible but this car is not the same size as the Cybertruck, "he said.
There has been no immediate comment from Tesla and Ford about this car.
Coric said Stark Solutions is now trying to register the pickup so that it can be driven on the highway but they are facing problems because sharp edges of vehicles such as those seen on Cybertruck are prohibited in Bosnia.
Tesla plans to build a $ 1.1 billion Cybertruck plant near Austin, Texas, United States, in July.
With a starting price of US $ 39,000, the Tesla Cybertruck resembles an armored vehicle and takes aim at the heart of the lucrative truck business for the automaker under Elon Musk's control.
